We opened a little record store in 1994 in Lakeland, FL called Woodpecker Records. Ten plus years spent fighting big box stores and building a brand people loved taught us a lot. We’ve always had an independent spirit—never afraid to strike out on our own and do what we wanted. There have been so many ideas along the way, and we always wanted a restaurant…
So when Woodpecker Records had to close it’s doors, we jumped into the food world. Years spent learning the ins and outs of the business, what we loved and what we hated, what could make a rad little restaurant people would call theirs, all of these past experiences led us to this moment.
